After studying Broadcast Journalism at Wayne State University and a brief career as a radio news announcer, Mark Summers decided to pursue a career in law in order to help people peacefully and fairly resolve disputes. After graduating from Wayne State, Mr. Summers attended and obtained a law degree from the University of Cincinnati. He later began working as a Hearing Officer for the Ohio Industrial Commission. There he presided over hearings on contested worker’s compensation issues. While working for the Commission, Mr. Summers was able to observe the professionalism, legal skills and abilities of attorneys who appeared before him to argue cases. Since joining the firm of Casper & Casper in 1993, Mr. Summers continues to focus his legal practice on Worker’s Compensation Law and has joined the Casper & Casper commitment to provide the best representation possible for workers who get injured on the job. As a partner in the firm, he is part of Casper & Casper’s commitment to professionalism and ethics as well as dedication to do the best possible job for each client.

Mr. Summers resides in the Cincinnati area. He is a strong proponent of fair elections and believes that is vital to maintaining democracy and a credible government. In his spare time Mr. Summers likes to sail and enjoys reading historical novels and occasionally, non-fiction. He is a diehard fan of the Detroit Tigers baseball team and enjoys playing tennis and golf.
