Megan Richards, a Partner with Casper & Casper, received her undergraduate B.A. from the Ohio State University where she majored in International Relations while also pursuing graduate work in Military History. Following graduation the legal field presented the best avenue for her to actively engage in helping people. Ms. Richards achieved her Juris Doctorate from the University of Cincinnati and more recently a Post-Graduate Master’s Degree in Women’s Studies. She has been a practicing attorney since 1983.

Prior to joining the Casper & Casper team Ms. Richards was a member of the Ohio Attorney Generals’ Workers’ Compensation litigation team. Indeed, Ms. Richards’ first contact with the Casper & Casper was as opposing counsel. She was so impressed with their consummate professionalism that she ultimately became a member of the team. She believes Casper & Casper has a mission to help clients. This is especially important in these difficult times. Ms. Richards is a strong advocate for justice for her clients. She understands that now, more than ever, Ohio’s injured workers are the underdog. She is tenacious in her quest to secure her clients rights.

Ms. Richards makes her home on the Hamilton-Butler county border in northern Cincinnati. She has served on the Board of Malachi, Inc., an organization which keeps expelled and suspended students on track to rejoin the public school. She also gives back to her profession by serving as a Trustee of the Butler County Bar Association and the Board of Ethics and Grievances for the Butler County Bar Association. Ms. Richards is a strong supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Center that works to expose and challenge hate groups throughout the United States. In her free time, Ms. Richards enjoys travel and spends time in her garden with her dogs Lucca & Jelly. She is an avid sports fan of men’s and women’s basketball, holding the U.K. men’s and Tennessee women’s teams in special regard.
