Rebecca Wilkinson, a Partner with Casper & Casper, entered the legal field because it offered independence and a great opportunity to help people. With these goals in mind, she pursued an undergraduate degree in Legal Administration at the University of Evansville and then a law degree from the Indiana University. Ms. Wilkinson has been practicing law since 1983 when she worked as a hearing officer with the Industrial Commission of the Bureau of Worker’s Compensation. While with the Industrial Commission, she observed Casper & Casper’s honest and reputable approach to their clients’ cases and their ability to work hard for their clients without grandstanding. She saw how Casper & Casper truly has their clients’ interests at heart rather than the firm’s bottom line. In 1989, Ms. Wilkinson joined Casper & Casper where she continues to focus her legal practice on Workers’ Compensation Law. She believes everyone at Casper & Casper is here to help people who’ve been hurt and are caught up in a system they don’t understand. When discussing cases with her clients, she will be very upfront and forthright. She will tell her clients what they are entitled to as well as the reasonable outcome that help from the team at Casper & Casper can achieve.
Ms. Wilkinson lives in the Northern Cincinnati suburb of West Chester with her husband and three children, two cats and a dog. Two of her children are currently in college, and her youngest child is a Senior in High School. Ms. Wilkinson serves on the Board of the Children’s International Summer Villages (also known as CISV International). Through this great program, her children have traveled to Jordan and Sao Paulo, Brazil. CISV International is an exchange organization that breaks down barriers and stereotypes of other nationalities and ethnicities by focusing on the common ground that can be found within differing cultures. This organization facilitates these exchanges in an effort to promote peace and understanding on a global scale. Ms. Wilkinson’s family enjoys preparing meals together and then delighting in their efforts on the rare occasions they are all together. In her free time, Ms. Wilkinson enjoys reading and being outdoors, especially when spending time in the garden or playing in the snow.
