The difference between winning and losing. 800.784.2889

At the age of 13, Rhys Richards attended a civil rights march to Music Hall on Martin Luther King, Junior Day with his Aunt Megan. From that point, Mr. Richards took more than a passing interest in the civil rights of all people. During his Junior year at Bowling Green State University, where he was majoring in English and History and minoring in Africana Studies, he considered careers as an English professor or an attorney. After interning for a summer at Casper & Casper, he realized his passion for promoting and protecting the civil rights of all people and for providing people with access to justice through the legal process. In 2007, Mr. Richards joined Casper and Casper as an Associate. He focuses his legal practice on Personal Injury Law, Negligence Law, Employer Intentional Torts, Employer Violations of Specific Safety Requirements and Products Liability.
Each time he meets with a new client, he explains the team approach taken by Casper & Casper regarding every case, an approach that utilizes the expertise and experience of the attorneys at Casper & Casper and within the practice as a whole and that pinpoints the right experts for each specific case. He tells his clients that he will do everything possible to make sure they walk away from a trying experience with the best possible outcome for them. Mr. Richards is upfront and genuine in his approach to each case and will listen to his clients’ concerns and questions while clearly communicating the steps in the legal process that can lead to a successful outcome.
Mr. Richards resides near Cincinnati, and actively serves on the Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre Board, the Butler County Advisory Board to the American Cancer Society, and is active in the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network. He is also very involved with the Ohio State Bar Association for which he has served as Chairperson of the Insurance Law Committee and is serving as the Vice Chairperson of the Negligence Law Committee. In 2010, he graduated from the OSBA’s inaugural Leadership Academy and has recently been inducted into the Miami Valley Trial Lawyers Association. In the past, Mr. Richards has spent time on stage and behind the scenes in productions of the Greater Hamilton Civic Theatre.
Mr. Richards spends entirely too much time playing hockey and watching his favorite team, the Detroit Red Wings. He swings the golf clubs occasionally, though most people around him stay as far away as possible. He also loves to travel whether it be to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to boogeyboard the waves, Montana to hike the mountain trails, or to San Francisco to take in the sites.
