On Martin Luther King day, at the age of 13, Rhys Richards attended a civil rights march to Cincinnati’s Music Hall with his aunt, and fellow Casper & Casper attorney, Megan Richards, and from that point had a deep interest in protecting the rights of all people.

During college at Bowling Green State University, Rhys considered a career as an English professor, but after a summer internship at Casper & Casper, rediscovered his passion for providing people with access to justice. Rhys joined Casper and Casper in 2007 as an Associate, focusing on Personal Injury Law, Products Liability, and Workers’ Compensation administrative hearings and litigation among other areas.

Rhys was named a partner of Casper & Casper in early 2016. He is genuinely concerned with the concerns of all his clients and makes a point to clearly communicate the steps in the legal process that can lead to a successful outcome.

If Rhys can assist you with a Personal Injury or Workers’ Compensation issue, please email or call a Casper & Casper office near you.

Casper and Casper would like to welcome Daniel Alnutt to our team.

At Casper & Casper, Daniel focuses his practice on representing Workers’ Compensation claimants and OVI Defense.

Daniel R. Allnutt joined Casper & Casper as an Associate after having a general practice for the previous five years.  Prior to this, he was employed by the City of Middletown as their Assistant Prosecutor.   He is a 2009 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law, and 2002 graduate of Miami University with a B.S. in Business Marketing.

After previously pursuing a career in the insurance industry, Daniel decided to pursue the interests of disadvantaged individuals.  During this period he witnessed a number of situations where individuals  were treated unfairly while being processed through the system.  These experiences led Daniel to realize the importance of all people having an advocate that protects and advances their interests.

If you are facing an OVI charge, or Worker’s Compensation issue, please don’t hesitate to email, or give Daniel a call.

Workers’ Compensation Law

Filed under: Workers' Compensation — Casper & Casper @ 3:12 pm

Last month attorney Barb Strady gave a great description of Personal Injury Law, so I thought I’d follow in her footsteps with a bit of information about Workers Compensation.

Workers’ Compensation laws protect people who are injured on the job. They are designed to ensure that employees who are injured or disabled are provided with fixed monetary awards. These laws also provide benefits for dependents of those workers who are killed because of work-related accidents or illnesses.

Workers’ Compensation laws can be confusing, and at times, more than a little frustrating to navigate, and that’s where the attorneys of Casper and Casper can help. If you have been injured on the job, give us a call or send us an email. We’ll help you make sense of the complex Workers’ Compensation system, and help you receive the benefits that you deserve.
