Casper & Casper Supports the Brian Hafer Foundation!

Here’s an exciting bit of local sports trivia. Casper & Casper’s own Pat Allen was a University of Dayton basketball standout in 1960 and 1961!

Perhaps equally as exciting, Pat recently joined former teammate Hank Josefczyk to sign a basketball for the Brian Hafer Foundation’s annual fundraiser. Brian Hafer played Division 1 college basketball and was a guitarist in a popular rock band. Sadly, Brian died of a drug overdose at the age of 33 in 2009.

Bill Hafer, Brian’s dad and a longtime bailiff for Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, was also on hand for the occasion. Bill and friends began the Brian Hafer Foundation, which since 2009 has raised over $100,000 to help others avoid the pitfalls of drug and alcohol abuse.

What an honor to have these three gentlemen in our office!

New offices in Hamilton, Ohio!

Filed under: General — Casper & Casper @ 2:40 pm

Casper & Casper has had a 75-year relationship with Hamilton, Ohio and the people that call it home.

For those of you that don’t know, Hamilton was founded in 1791 as Fort Hamilton in honor of one of the United States’ founding fathers, Alexander Hamilton. It was originally established as a supply station for the troops of General Arthur St. Clair and General “Mad” Anthony Wayne during the Northwest Indian War.

By mid-19th century, Hamilton had become a significant manufacturing city. Its early products were machines used to process farm produce, such as steam engines, hay cutters, reapers and threshers.

By the 20th century, the town was a manufacturing center for vaults and safes, machine tools, cans for vegetables, paper making machinery, locomotives, steam engines, diesel engines, and automobile parts.

The attorneys of Casper & Casper are proud to have played a part in Hamilton’s colorful history, and of the support we’ve provide its citizens. We plan to continue that relationship well into the future, and to that end, we have moved to a new location in downtown Hamilton.

Our new offices are at 300 High Street in the First National Bank Building. If you have a Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, or Social Security issue, and need assistance, please give us a call at 513-892-2560. At Casper & Casper your first consultation is always free.

We look forward to seeing you in historic downtown Hamilton!
